Waiting for the autumn holiday:)

It's few days left before the autumn holiday begins. Hurraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy! 
We have lots of great plans for the holiday but also a lot of work during the lessons before that. Many tests and piles of homework are waiting for us every day. :P Anyway, we are working haaaard and maybe getting graduated some day... :D The dream of the holiday is gonna make us the super intelligent professeurs!!! XDD

Some students are maybe going to Helsinki in the holiday;)

In today's Erasmus meeting we were planning the drama show for the visit of Italy. We thought compare Finnish and Italian greeting cultures and noticed that Finnish people are quite scared of hugging and kissing which is normal in Italy. Earlier today we had info about Wanhat -prom which is one of the most important event of Finnish high school.

A cold day in Finland

Hello again. This morning there was minus five Celsius degrees outside so it's starting to feel winter. Sirpa just left to get some pulla to us. And it's sunny this time. We are preparing our presentation to Italy.

The rainy day in Finland

It's a cold, rainy autumn day. 
The school has ended but we are still sitting in the cold, dismal classroom of Finnish. 
We are starting again to plan the Italy job skills presentation but we have no idea what to do... :D And there's just few weeks left before five students will fly to Sicily... 
In fact, we are just eating biscuits and drinking ice tea [lemon or peach!! (and peach is better! :))].

It's cold

Today we had a quick meeting where we decided the guys who'll travel to Italy in November! :))) We are waiting forward the trip... ;)

 

Today we gathered first time after the visit in Finland and estimated how did it go. Everyone was happy and we we successed in many things but some things could be improved too. Some coffee and pulla was also ate and many memories remembered. Waiting for the next meeting! :))) <3

Tuesday 1.2.

On tuesday we went to the forest to see the harvester. 

There was a campfire and we grilled some sausages and finnish pancakes. 

After the forest we went to the Junnikkala sawmill to see how the company works.

At the evening we went to gymnastic hall in Meinala to spend time.

The first day in FINLAND!!!

Today we and our international guests presented our companies to each other. When we got to school we had some icebreakers in groups, and it was very funny! :) We had to make an invention that protects eggs from breaking when dropped. 

All of the countries had a presentation. First we presented our presenation about lumber industry and Junnikkala sawmill.

Then team France introduced Huhtamäki and team Denmark introduced Lego Land, which they compared to Nokia.

After that team Germany presented their company and team Italia introduced Dolfin and gave us some tasties. They were really good :p

The day has been really nice so far. We will have a great week together with these awesome people! 

Italians gave us italian polarettis and candy!!

Our guests will come in two days!!! :D We have waited them for a long time and we're so happy to finally meet them! :) 

Today we have made name signs and practised our performance very hard.

The Penkkarit

 

Today the abiturients of our school were the last day at school before their matriculation examination. They wore the role costumes themed by Disney movies and had a show at school. That's why we didn't have real school today, but we had to had Erasmus meeting. Here are some pictures about

Heyyy we are here again!! 
On today's meeting we are just eating salt sticks and planning more the next meeting. There is a test week on our school and we all are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. xD But better days are coming... :P

 

But the happier thing is that we have finally found out the names of our guests and waiting for making friends with them:DDD We are sooooo excited!!!!! Today we're going to plan some program for the welcoming party on Monday. We've planned the spectacular show for you...;)

The Christmas holiday is over now and that's quite sad... But now we are full of energy for this year and ready to start this semester. 

The Denmark group have come back to Finland and now we have started to plan the visit to Kalajoki in February.

We have found lots of activities for you guys... ;))) So we hope you'll enjoy Finland. :)
